The Vital Proteins® founder and story
Vital Proteins® was founded in 2013 to help others live fuller lives. Our founder, Kurt Seidensticker, was an avid runner and had been experiencing knee pain that set back his training. His search for a solution led him to start incorporating ingestible collagen into his diet as a source of amino acids for protein synthesis.
Our founder's passion for health and fitness, and his ambition to help others better their lives through integrated health solutions, became our mission: to empower everyone to live a full and vibrant life.
